When my friend and I moved to Royal Palm Beach, FL, the first thing I wanted to do is find things for my youngsters and I to do, and there were swimming pools at the house complex, and plenty of swings and slides.
They are only four and five, and I thought this would be enough entertainment while in the hot Summer mornings and cool winters.
There was one thing I still had to discover; After taking care of the youngsters all day and enjoying their having fun, I needed to find someplace where Mom and I could get away and relax; Sitting in the hot sun while the youngsters played was hard work, i was fatigued when I came into the house, and in need of some unbelievable air conditioning. I washed the youngsters up and then put them down for a nap; When my hubby came in, I told him I needed some time without youngsters, then my unbelievable friend and I had already found a babysitter that was only two doors down from us, and he was a certified babysitter. I told my hubby the Oak Bistro and Wine Bar was calling to me. It was less than six blocks from the house, but I wanted to drive. I didn’t want to walk in the heat and humidity, not only did my friend and I prefer the wine tasting, but they had delicious food. It wasn’t a pricey eating establishment, but it was cool, my friend and I didn’t have youngsters, and I was able to relax. What more could you want but a small meal and a lot of wine. I was ready to head back house and go to bed.
