It’s difficult to manage a huge hotel plus resort, but I do the task to the best of our ability; I have been emplotted by the same contractor for the past twelve years.
I started out working at the front desk as a receptionist.
I was at a rundown hotel by the Tampa airport, and eventually the boss promoted me to a management position plus then I started moving up the corporate ladder… After many years, I moved to this Clearwater Beach resort where I currently work. I got the director position last winter, however this year is our first Summer managing the entire property plus I have had 1 problem after another, then my first crucial problem was while in a anniversary reception. The couple booked the event many weeks in advance, but no 1 handled the important details… On the morning of the event, things were harshly chaotic. A month later, I had an issue with the AC unit in the dining room. I did not have any cold air at all downstairs where the dining room crew works morning, noon, plus night. I needed a Tampa Heating plus A/C service contractor fast. I had to call all of our respected locales. I finally got someone on the eighth try. The Heating plus A/C contractor came out an hour later. The repairs were extensive plus the bills were outrageous, but the AC problem was fixed. Now I’m dealing with a staff theft issue, then somebody is stealing office supplies from the basement. It isn’teven crucial ticket items which is totally baffling. The problems keep adding up plus it is incredibly aggravating.
