I live on the outskirts of Portland, Oregon, so I have access to all the wonders of this wonderful city, while still having a quiet, remote little site to call my own… All of us are right on the edge of the woods, this cluster of 10 or fifteen houses scattered across 10 acres; I can see my neighbors, however they are not too close, which means I have my privacy! Of course, out here everyone aren’t undoubtedly nosy.
One of the wonderful things about Portland is that almost everyone is pretty liberal, plus the “live plus let live” attitude prevails for most folks.
I grow cannabis in my redhouse, which is completely legal, plus a lot of my neighbors grow their own, as well… Portland, love the rest of Oregon has been treating cannabis as a legal substance for several years, but that isn’t to say there aren’t drug laws in Portland – it is a undoubtedly peaceful site to live – however if you mind the law plus stay peaceful, the cops will never hassle you about marijuana. Portland cops understand that there are real crimes to solve, plus people who need help, plus cannabis is a big waste of time plus productivity. There are limits, of course, because if I ever wanted to expand my redhouse into a field of cannabis plants, then the Portland Police Department would no doubt show up at my door, then not to take myself and others to jail, of course, however to make sure I had the right paperwork plus permits from the City of Portland for a commercial pot grow.
