My friends and I drove all the way to the West Coast for our spring break vacation.
It took us 11 hours to make the drive.
We could have stayed home with lots of other people, but my friends and I specifically went to the West Coast so we could use recreational marijuana. We stayed in a small city about an hour away from San Francisco. We visited San Francisco a couple of times while we were there. We didn’t do many things in San Francisco, because it was very expensive to hang out in the city. Lunch alone was $50 for three people. Most of the time we hung out at the beach. There are lots of nice beaches between San Francisco and the small city where we stayed. We found a cheap marijuana dispensary close to our hotel. The place had amazing deals on dried marijuana flower. They had eighths of marijuana flower for $10 each and several of the strains 30% THC or higher. I spent $200 on marijuana supplies when we first arrived and I spent the last bit of my money on recreational marijuana supplies before we left the city to head back home. I knew that I wasn’t going to find anything close to those prices once I got back home. Marijuana hasn’t been legalized for recreational use in the state where I live, so I’m still paying extremely high street prices from a dealer that charges crazy delivery fees. The extra recreational marijuana from California saved me hundreds of dollars and it lasted for six weeks after we got back to school.
