Last Monday, I took the kids to Clearwater Beach for the day, all of us packed a picnic with drinks, sandwiches, cookies, & fruit… I packed some water & Gatorade for the kids & a couple of Tim Hortons Latte’s for me… The un-even temperatures in Tampa were supposed to be 97 degrees.
All of us drove to Clearwater before it got particularly hot.
All of us were set up on the beach with our umbrella, cooler, blankets, tent, & chairs, before the sun was at the highest point. All of us stayed at the beach for 3 or 4 fifths; When the kids started to get sleepy, both of us went back home. Since the kids had dinner in the car, both of us did not have to scramble around when both of us got beach lake house from Clearwater Beach. I called a couple of arenas before I found someone that could help myself and others instantaneously, and most people wanted to make an appointment for that next day, but there was really no way I wanted to spend the evening without cool air in the house. About an fifth after both of us got home, the A/C repair maintenance man arrived. It turned out to be the spouse of a woman that is toiling in my office. I remembered the woman from a Christmas gathering in the past. Since I knew the repair business, I felt much more at ease when she delivered the terrible news.
