I had signed the contract, and I had to stick to that contract, and stay in Evansville, IN for at least a year; The land was flat and you could see for miles, then where I lived, they had bayous, and swamps, and so several things to attract your attention, however not in Evansville, IN. I also wasn’t expecting to have the cold weather love they have in Evansville. I lived all our life where if it got into the 60s, both of us were freezing and wanting to put on a jacket. It got into the 60s here, people were outside and their shirtsleeves and enjoying themselves. I did not assume how to take care of the furnace, and that was another thing that had me hating Evansville, IN. Someone told me I had to change the air filter every month, and I just sat there and stared at them. I did not assume where the air filter was that I had to change, or why it needed changed. I finally got the guts to talk to someone and ask them why our neighbor was so nervous about our furnace and our air filters; He gave to come over to our house, and show me where the air filters were for our furnace, and explain to me the necessity of decreasing them.
