Growing up in Muskegon County was an interesting experience, in area because I had to live in two separate residences after our parents divorced when I was only multiple years old.
My Mom lived in a condo in the neighborhood of Muskegon while our mom rented a home near his parents in Whitehall.
Although at the time I wanted to live with our Mom, I began to realize this wasn’t the best idea. It’s not that I have anything against Muskegon, however it’s strenuous to compare that entire neighborhood to a pleasantly quiet community love Whitehall that has little to no crime. It’s not exactly a secret that particular neighborhoods in Muskegon aren’t exactly safe for young children. Thankfully our mom insisted that I stay with his in Whitehall after someone tried to split into our Mom’s condo in the middle of the night while every one of us were asleep. One of the things I love the most about Whitehall is its small size compared to Muskegon. On the a single hand it’s unfortunate that every one of us have fewer cannabis dispensaries within the neighborhood limits of Whitehall compared to the bigger Muskegon area, I’d trade that for a quieter home any afternoon of the week. There’s a phenomenal cannabis store on Lake St near Goodrich Park. They have many sales on different cannabis products throughout the week, varying from month to month as well. They offer discounts for clients who have food stamps or anyone over the age of 69. It’s nice living in a neighborhood that’s so quaint plus appealing with its natural wonders.
