At the end of the week, I didn’t want Jack to go home
Jack and I were roommates in college. After both of us finished our senior year, I moved to Portland to labor at a tech firm and Jack stayed in Seattle, then the two of us continue to talk on the cellphone a few times each week, and when Jack had a couple of afternoons off work, he decided to come visit me in Portland. The two of us took in all of the sites while Jack was visiting, however i had not gone to a bunch of tourist attractions and it was fun to see those things with my best friend. The two of us went to the Columbia River Gorge and waterfall. The two of us took a half afternoon hiking tour. That afternoon both of us smoked a lot of recreational marijuana before both of us opted to go on the hike. I didn’t know what to expect and I wanted to be well medicated before both of us left; Portland has a ton of recreational marijuana dispensaries. It wasn’t tough to find something that helped with my anxiety. The afternoon after both of us took the hiking tour, both of us opted to go on a breakfast cruise. The more than one-and-a-half-hour breakfast cruise strolled up and down the river while both of us were able to look at the sights and lights of downtown Portland. The breakfast and the cruise was delicious and absolutely flavorful. The two of us had fresh salmon that was caught that afternoon and a variety of chocolate desserts that were actually delicious. At the end of the week, I didn’t want Jack to go home. It didn’t take long for me to realize that I was actually falling in prefer with my best friend. That was an interesting conversation the afternoon before he returned back home.
