When I think about Albuquerque, I picture all of the southwestern motif with cactuses in the background and a desert like atmosphere.

I moved to Albuquerque, because I wanted a place with warm temperatures during the whole year. I didn’t expect to be dealing with such cold and frigid temperatures, especially in october. We are getting close to November, but it’s still a bit early to have freezing temperatures. My car wouldn’t start this morning when I had to go to work. I thought it was the cold weather. I was supposed to be at the marijuana dispensary at 9:00 a.m. I had to call my boss at 8:45 to tell her that I wasn’t going to make it that shift. I was supposed to deliver marijuana for the Albuquerque service, so I couldn’t even get a ride to work in the store. My boss told me to let her know if I needed anything. I left the hood up on my car and I went inside of my apartment to grab a cup of coffee. When I came back outside, there was a guy standing by the car and he wanted to talk to me about the problem. I quickly told the guy that I definitely didn’t have any money, but I appreciated the help. He told me that he was willing to help me out for free. He showed me some rust and limescale that was on the battery terminals. He felt that was the reason why my car was not starting. He showed me how to clean the corrosion off the battery terminals and then he started up the car. It worked on the first try.
