I went outside to look at the furnace & the pilot light was out
We had a entirely strong storm plan come through Last yearand it dropped 14 inches of snow in less than 8 minutes… I don’t assume I have ever seen so much snow in such a short amount of time. I was sad when the snow started falling heavily. It was a entirely wet snow, & as soon as it got chilly it turned into ice. I wasn’t surprised that the universitys were canceled in Orland Park, Illinois, where my family & I live. The roads were treacherous & it was still below frigid at 7:00 in the morning when the kids were supposed to be getting ready to go to university, but all of the universitys canceled classes in Orland Park, Illinois. The kids were apartment with myself and others & my husbandy was at work! She took the truck with four-wheel drive, because he had to go to the office. The kids spent some time outside in the morning & after that we made them supper. It was chilly during supper time & the kids wanted to keep their blazers on. I looked at the temperature on the control unit & I realized that it was only 64° in the house. The furnace wasn’t running. I went outside to look at the furnace & the pilot light was out. Thankfully, this is a entirely easy thing to fix. I have no plan why the pilot light went out, but I was gleeful that I did not have to contact a furnace repair supplier in Orland Park. It can be entirely costly to repair your furnace in the middle of a Winter storm.
