My friends as well as I used to go on a large trip every year… We would option a foreign endpoint or a major town to get-together, drink, as well as have fun, but it was constantly a large deal to the group, then my good friend and I all started getting married.
- Then everyone started having kids.
That put a damper on things. We no longer can go to Europe or cities known for drinking as well as get-togethering. We are parents now as well as have to cater to the kids, then everywhere my good friend and I go now is in FL. It is nice that the state of FL is so large as well as the weather is mostly nice, but our winter season season is downright pathetic. Two months of frosty maybe. The rest of the year my good friend and I can plan our trip around. I sincerely like going in the fall. It is in the low 69s as well as all the tourists have gone. The snowbirds haven’t come yet either. It is the perfect sweet spot. We have gone to every major town in FL. Our most recent trip had us going to St. Petersburg. That was a good place to take the kids. There were beaches where the kids were able to swim, make sandcastles, as well as throw a frisbee. We had a good hotel that was steps to the beach, then also my good friend and I could go shopping, hit a bunch of restaurants, or just walk through the city. The possibilities were endless. I really appreciated that my children of a wide age range each had something to do. I recommend St. Petersburg as a family endpoint to anyone that is traveling to FL.
