Moving to Chicago and enjoying the dispensaries

There are no seeds, stems or concerns over mold, spider mites or other contaminants

I recently moved across the country for the sake of a better job. I got offered a position with a better title and benefits, higher pay and more upward mobility. Although packing up and relocating was a lot of work, stress and expenses, it was worth it. I was excited to move to Illinois, and specifically, the city of Chicago. I was a little apprehensive about the cold winters, but there is really great shopping, amazing restaurants and an extensive music and art scene. Plus, recreational cannabis was legalized for purchase and possession back in 2019. Residents over the age of 21 simply need to show valid government-issued identification to shop at the dispensary. I can buy 30 grams of cannabis flower, 5 grams of a concentrate or 500 mg of THC in a cannabis-infused product. Moving to an area with legal cannabis was a big perk. I don’t drink alcohol, smoke cigarettes or take any type of prescription medicine. However, I do like to smoke marijuana flower to socialize or relax. It is really great to be able to shop brands and strains that have been extensively tested and verified as safe. The label provides the THC and CBD percentages, terpene profile and harvest date. There are no seeds, stems or concerns over mold, spider mites or other contaminants. I can also shop for the necessary paraphernalia, such as pipes, papers, rolling trays and whatever I need to enhance the experience. I am having fun buying single pre-rolls and trying out new flavors, brands, strains and potency of flower.
