A couple of months ago, I had an indoor air quality check and diagnostic appointment with the Orland Park HVAC business.
During the indoor air quality check-in diagnostic appointment, the Orland Park HVAC service technician tested my air for pollutants and performed a routine maintenance service on the heating and air conditioning system.
I told the HVAC service technician that my boyfriend smoked marijuana in the house and I hated the way it smelled. I asked if an air filter would help. The Orland Park HVAC service technician gave me a couple of great ideas. He suggested buying an air filter that was made for allergens and odors. The small porous area would trap most of the allergens and dust and the inner carbon fibers would trap the odors as well. The service technician also suggested putting a lavender or linen scented dryer sheet on the underside of the air filter. I definitely did not know that you could put a dryer sheet on the air filter. The service technician showed me where to put it and how to keep it stuff to the air filter. I went online to see if this guy was crazy or not. I actually found out that there are air filters that are scented and the smell is supposed to last up to 2 weeks. I really like the smell of lavender in the air and I am thinking about buying air filters that are scented from the factory. My boyfriend thinks I am crazy and will tire of the smell, but I really don’t like the odor from pot. I think I’ll give these air filters a shot.
