Thursday is the only afternoon that I have off throughout the week, i’ve been working 6 afternoons for a while.

The Albuquerque, NM marijuana dispensary where I work is tied up all of the time. That marijuana dispensary is close to the airport, but my buddy and I constantly have foot traffic in plus out of the building. I need it off Thursday so I could pick up my mom from a healthcare expert’s appointment… She was having routine surgery plus she needed someone to drive her home. I offered to take her plus pick her up. I had to find someone at the marijuana dispensary to pick up an extra afternoon. I left a note on the office door for the supervisor. I found someone to pick up the extra afternoon plus it did not take long at all, and one of the new men was cheerful to get a little bit of overtime! He was tied up for 5 afternoons during the week, but Thursday was a afternoon off. He picked up my 7-hour shift so I could take care of my mom.
