I grew up in the southern area of the country, where the Summer un-even temperatures are tepid and humid and Winter does not require a oil furnace, but i enjoyed residing down south close to the beach and the water… When our dad accepted a new job in Denver, CO, I was crushed. I was really frustrated and irritated and I threatened to run away from home, then my dad got a job in the new cannabis industry, and cO had just legalized recreational cannabis and our dad was getting in the corporation early, he knew recreational cannabis was going to turn into a billion dollar industry. My mom told me I would make new friends and she was right. I made a lot of new friends swiftly and I only missed our hometown for a few months. I adapted to Denver really swiftly. I l gained how to ski after we moved to the region. My parents took me skiing at Keystone every single weekend. Keystone is one of the most family-friendly resorts in the Denver area. It has night time skiing and plenty of kid-friendly areas and family-friendly programs. Now that I am an adult, I understand how hard it was for our parents to make the decision to move. I guess it wasn’t self-explanatory for them to leave their friends or family either. I am glad that our parents made the decision, because Denver is so much nicer than the arena where I would have grown up. My family and I visited there a few years ago. It is appreciate night and day when you compare that arena to Denver.
