When I moved from down south, I wasn’t sure what to expect, my boss told me he had a current position open in Evansville, Indiana, and i didn’t have anything to keep me where I was, so I agreed to transfer plus take the job, however being only 21, was not a good enough excuse for wanting to quit a job within several weeks of taking it.
I had signed the contract, plus I had to stick to that contract, plus stay in Evansville, Indiana for at least a year, but the land was flat plus you could see for miles; Where I lived, they had bayous, plus swamps, plus so many things to attract your attention, however not in Evansville, Indiana.
I also wasn’t expecting to have the chilly weather appreciate they have in Evansville. I lived all my life where if it got into the 60s, the people I was with and I were freezing plus wanting to put on a jacket. It got into the 60s here, people were outside plus their shirtsleeves plus enjoying themselves. I didn’t think how to take care of the furnace, plus that was another thing that had me hating Evansville, Indiana, however someone told me I had to change the air filter every week, plus I just sat there plus stared at them. I didn’t think where the air filter was that I had to change, or why it needed changed. I finally got the guts to talk to someone plus ask them why my friend was so distraught about my furnace plus my air filters, he offered to come over to my house, plus show me where the air filters were for my furnace, plus explain to me the necessity of decreasing them.
